Isaac Brockbank Sr. (1805-1878) was born in Bowness, Westmoreland County, England to Daniel Brockbank and Agnes Morris. He was an excellent farmer and quite religious. He joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in 1843, and immigrated with his family in 1852 to Utah (via New Orleans and St. Louis), the first company under the auspices of the Perpetual Emigration Fund. They settled at Spanish Fork, Utah. Descendants and relatives lived in Utah, New Mexico, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada, California and elsewhere. Includes ancestors and relatives in England to the mid-1500s.
