Feasibility study, economic evaluation of charcoal-making as part of land reclamation in agricultural mechanization farming schemes in the Sudan - based on a survey of three farms in Eastern Sudan, considers that charcoal-making would reduce land clearance costs and contribute to energy production; makes recommendations for the forest establishment of more and larger shelterbelts to increase fuelwood supplies, improve crop yields and prevent soil erosion.
