The first volume has only four columns: name, location, remarks, and date. The "remarks" refers to private or public sewer or no sewer. The second volume has title: "Record of applications processed for building const. & sewer permits." The columns read: permit, address, owner, contractor, type of sewer (public, private, or none), and remarks (note here assmt. ERA-WPA, REG, etc., sewer used if two or more are possible, other rmk). The third volume is the same as the second. All are bound differently.
