Is America in Bible prophecy? Although America is not specifically called by name anywhere in God’s word, most Bible prophecy teachers will admit that there is overwhelming evidence that certain scriptures concerning future events may pertain to the United States of America. Why wouldn’t the United States of America be in Bible prophecy? The United States of America is the greatest country on the face of the earth today. The United States of America, was founded by Christians who believed in God. They wrote the Constitution based on the Godly principles of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. America has evangelized the world. Are you born again? If not, then you will be here, during the 7 years of Great Tribulation, when the antichrist will rule the world. Do you live in America? Then you will want to know what will happen to the greatest country on the face of the earth? The Day of the Lord is at hand...now is the time to repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ which is to confess Jesus Christ as Lord in your life and to believe that God raised him from the dead. Everyone who does not have Jesus Christ in their heart will stand before the Judgement Seat of God...everyone who does have Jesus Christ in their heart has already been guaranteed eternal life in Heaven. There’s an old expression “you can’t take it with you when you go”, well, that is true except for a few spiritual things. The only things you can take with you when you go are your own salvation or if you help others get saved and your own fellowship/relationship with God i.e. how much you have lived His Word in your life and whatever help and encouragement you’ve given to others to help them have a better relationship with God I John 1:1-7.

America, the Daughter of Babylon deals with the prophetic future of the United States of America. The Bible reveals that there will be a second nation of Babylon, which is described in detail throughout scripture and can be identified as America. The bible not only identifies America, but also gives detailed accounts of future events concerning her. God has much to say to us today about our relationship to Babylon and the Babylonian religion. This book reveals that many of the symbols of the Babylonian religion that was created by Lucifer himself, King of Babylon, are displayed as American symbols throughout her Capitol. The American Capitol itself is linked directly to the founding of Babel by its cornerstone.

A gripping portrait of black power politics and the struggle for civil rights in postwar Oakland As the birthplace of the Black Panthers and a nationwide tax revolt, California embodied a crucial motif of the postwar United States: the rise of suburbs and the decline of cities, a process in which black and white histories inextricably joined. American Babylon tells this story through Oakland and its nearby suburbs, tracing both the history of civil rights and black power politics as well as the history of suburbanization and home-owner politics. Robert Self shows that racial inequities in both New Deal and Great Society liberalism precipitated local struggles over land, jobs, taxes, and race within postwar metropolitan development. Black power and the tax revolt evolved together, in tension. American Babylon demonstrates that the history of civil rights and black liberation politics in California did not follow a southern model, but represented a long-term struggle for economic rights that began during the World War II years and continued through the rise of the Black Panthers in the late 1960s. This struggle yielded a wide-ranging and profound critique of postwar metropolitan development and its foundation of class and racial segregation. Self traces the roots of the 1978 tax revolt to the 1940s, when home owners, real estate brokers, and the federal government used racial segregation and industrial property taxes to forge a middle-class lifestyle centered on property ownership. Using the East Bay as a starting point, Robert Self gives us a richly detailed, engaging narrative that uniquely integrates the most important racial liberation struggles and class politics of postwar America.

Why did 81 percent of white evangelicals vote for Donald Trump in 2016? And what does this tell us about the relationship between Christianity and democracy in the United States? American Babylon places our present political moment against a deep historical backdrop. In Part I the author traces the development of democratic institutions from Ancient Greece through to the American Revolution and of Christian political theology from Augustine to Falwell. Part II charts the decline of democratic governance within American churches; explains the capture of evangelical Christianity by the Republican Party; and denounces the fateful embrace between white Christian nationalists and right-wing populists that culminated in Trump’s victory. An accessible and timely book, American Babylon is essential reading for those concerned with the vexed relationship of religion and politics in the United States, including students and scholars in the fields of divinity, history, political science, religious studies, and sociology.

In Chains of Babylon, Daryl J. Maeda presents a cultural history of Asian American activism in the late 1960s and early 1970s, showing how the movement created the category of "Asian American" to join Asians of many ethnicities in racial solidarity. Drawing on the Black Power and antiwar movements, Asian American radicals argued that all Asians in the United States should resist assimilation and band together to oppose racism within the country and imperialism abroad. As revealed in Maeda's in-depth work, the Asian American movement contended that people of all Asian ethnicities in the United States shared a common relationship to oppression and exploitation with each other and with other nonwhite peoples. In the early stages of the civil rights era, the possibility of assimilation was held out to Asian Americans under a model minority myth. Maeda insists that it was only in the disruption of that myth for both African Americans and Asian Americans in the 1960s and 1970s that the full Asian American culture and movement he describes could emerge. Maeda challenges accounts of the post-1968 era as hopelessly divisive by examining how racial and cultural identity enabled Asian Americans to see eye-to-eye with and support other groups of color in their campaigns for social justice. Asian American opposition to the war in Vietnam, unlike that of the broader antiwar movement, was predicated on understanding it as a racial, specifically anti-Asian genocide. Throughout he argues that cultural critiques of racism and imperialism, the twin "chains of Babylon" of the title, informed the construction of a multiethnic Asian American identity committed to interracial and transnational solidarity.

Second Edition (not minor revision) If you are looking for an analysis of Babylon the Great, to determine if it might be the United States of America, then this book is for you. One of the most difficult things I had to do in order to correctly interpret Bible prophecy, was come to the realization that America is Babylon the Great (BTG). I did not want to believe it. But after years of study, the evidence forced me to that conclusion. Then I realized, that most nations of the world will suffer great destruction to one degree or another, based on their sins. So America will also suffer for its sinfulness.I also came to understand that Babylon the Great (BTG) is not all of America, it is ONLY wicked America. God will destroy wicked America, but he will save a righteous remnant from those who do not go in the Rapture, to rebuild the nation.During the past 10 years I saw such great decline in America, that I can now see why America will be destroyed, and also why it must be destroyed. But America will NOT be destroyed before the start of the Great Tribulation (GT), which is so often claimed, but will only be wounded at the start of the GT, but will be nuked and then invaded at the end of the GT. The nuclear war and invasion of America are the last acts of the beast (a Revised Islamic Empire) and its allies (Russia and China and North Korea), in its attempt to totally destroy Christianity and the Christians in America. Then Christ returns to save the world by destroying the evil that is taking over the world. Many people misinterpret Babylon the Great (BTG) harlot, prostitute, in Revelation 17 and 18. She has been interpreted to be, the Roman Catholic Church, the Protestant Church, Jerusalem, Islam, Saudi Arabia, and who knows what else.I will provide a mountain of evidence and explain in detail how America is political Babylon, which is the government of the United States of America; cultural Babylon, which is the polluted culture of America that is formed by movies, TV, and music; and economic Babylon, that is capitalism which is headquartered in America; America being the premier capitalist nation in the world. If Babylon is also a city, then it is New York City.Like my other two books on Bible prophecy, there is a lot of new insights in this book that are not found in any other book on Babylon the Great and America. I also discuss the Old Testament references to an end-time Babylon, which is not a rebuilt city in Iraq, but can only be the same as Mystery Babylon in Revelation. And I will discuss the founding of America, how it was founded with a de facto covenant with God ("de facto" means being in effect though not formally recognized). But America also is chosen of God because it was one of the nations that God promised to Abraham. Yes, God promised Abraham more than one nation! It is likely the main reason that America became the greatest and most powerful nation the world has ever seen.I also show how America will be split into three parts by a huge global earthquake (Rev. 16) after it betrays Israel. One split will be along the Mississippi River, the other in California. This book also includes a discussion of Gog and Magog of Ezekiel 38, which gives us details for two wars, not just one. One will be an invasion of Israel; the other will be an invasion of America. In the appendix I discuss the misinterpretation of Walid Shoebat, showing that his view of BTG being Saudi Arabia is grossly wrong. This is Book 3 of the Bible Prophecy Revealed series, which is a complete teaching on Bible prophecy. If you liked the other two books, you will like this one. (This is edition 1.75 with some slight improvements.) (Book 4 is now available).

WHY SHOULD YOU READ THIS BOOK? Bible prophecy is a popular topic, and many books have been written on the subject, but most of the authors are missing some very important facts. Using the Biblical text as a reference point, I'll fill in these gaps and articulately explain what others have overlooked. America is mentioned in prophecy, and I'll prove it. The evidence I will present is irrefutable, and so are the warnings. IT'S TIME TO ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS Find out why the religious establishment supported Hitler, and learn how to recognize the apostate leaders in your community. Be forewarned, many of these people are going to support the antichrist. THERE'S MORE Will Israel reconstruct another temple, or should we look for something else? What about the rapture, the two witnesses, nuclear war, and the mark of the beast? If you pay attention, the information in this book will clearly predict what's going to happen in our future. When you're finished reading, you won't have any doubts.

What if the Antichrist were an American leader? What if he were alive today and living in the U.S.A? What if he were only a few years away from revealing himself to the world? Instead of being omitted from Bible prophecy as many of the major eschatology scholars have taught for decades, what if America were at the very center of Bible prophecy? What if the U.S.A., rather than Europe, Rome, or Babylon, were the power base of Satan's conspiracy against the Kingdom of God? These three authors, Douglas W. Krieger, Dene McGriff, and S. Douglas Woodward, argue just that. Together, they have written what may be seen as a landmark book rethinking the traditional prophetic scenario in light of developments in America and the Middle East. Combined, these authors bring over 100 years of study, teaching, and writing to the subject of Bible prophecy. The amazing blend of their respective backgrounds in the foreign services, evangelical ministries, and corporate America, lends unsurpassed credibility to their stunning and remarkably fresh presentation. In some respects, The Final Babylon is a classic prophecy book, rich in exegesis of key scriptures most often overlooked or misinterpreted. The implications are life changing. Reading The Final Babylon, America and the Coming of Antichrist will awaken you to what has been happening right in front of our eyes that we simply couldn't see due to our love of country and our faulty assumptions concerning the antagonists in the traditional prophetic scenario. This book may change your politics, your view of the Bible, and what you do day-to-day.

"John Cooley uncovered the truth about the west's creation of the extreme forces that attacked the US on 9/11. As an authority on the Middle East, he has been right so often he has few equals. In An Alliance Against Babylon: the US, Israel and Iraq, he breaks the silence on the pivotal role Israel has played in the west's imperial adventure in Iraq: indeed, how the tail in Tel Aviv has so often wagged the dog in Washington. This book is typically Cooley: much needed and brilliant." John Pilger*BR**BR*'A major contribution... John Cooley's face-to-face exchanges with so many of the key personalities who have shaped [the Arab world] give his observations a depth and a vitality that will captivate many people. ... Only someone who has been 'embedded' in the region for almost half a century could catch the nuances of the underlying tragedy that has contributed to the threat we refer to in simplistic terms as 'terrorism'.' Ray Close, former CIA Station Chief in Saudi Arabia*BR**BR*'The Iraq war is unintelligible without the history John Cooley's brave new book provides. The ancient Jewish communities of the Middle East were sacrificed during the 20th century to the selfish games of nationalist politicians and spy/entrepreneurs. British, Americans and Israelis had better read Cooley carefully if they hope to save the Christians and Kurds of Iraq from the deadly consequences of the current intervention.' Brady Kiesling, former US Diplomat in various Arab capitals who resigned in protest against George W. Bush's middle east policy*BR**BR*The ruins of ancient Babylon still stand in Iraq. They are a reminder that today's conflict is only one of many that have engulfed the country, and the wider Middle East, over the centuries.*BR**BR*John Cooley, a former correspondent for ABC News and the Christian Science Monitor, argues that America's new invasion and occupation of Iraq marks a turning point in the West's relationship with the Arab world, and alters the balance of power within the Middle East. *BR**BR*He argues that the crucial factor in this new development is the relationship between Israel and the United States. Examining today's problems from this unique perspective, Cooley covers a broad sweep of history, from biblical Babylonian times until now. He shows how US and Israeli interests in the Middle East were contradictory at first. He explains how and why the US-Israel alliance gradually evolved.*BR**BR*Drawing from unpublished sources, as well as from John Cooley's personal encounters with principal players such as David ben-Gurion, the Shah of Iran, Anwar al-Sadat, King Hussein of Jordan and Saddam Hussein himself, this book gives a uniquely valuable perspective on the complex history of Iraq and why it continues to be at the heart of world affairs.*BR**BR*Praise for John Cooley's previous book, Unholy Wars:*BR**BR*'The definitive account.'
