The book on Alkaline Water is an eye opening journey that opens the door on the truth about the water we drink from our faucets, to the documented facts about the bottled water industry. Join the writer on this quest of discovery to find out how you too can obtain the tools necessary to ensure that the water you drink is all that it was intended it to be. Documented sources such as the FDA and the Safe Drinking Water Act provide little known facts that we should all be aware of when it comes to the water we drink. Did you know that drinking Alkaline Water can eliminate hangovers and bring your body back (quickly) to its normal pH balance? You will learn what Reverse Osmosis (used in many water stores) is and how the process strips all nutritional value from any water exposed to this process (Good for steam irons but not our bodies). The introduction of ionizer water machines started several years ago in Japan and Korea. The machines produce alkaline/ionized water using a system of electrolysis and carbon filters to create water so delicious and nutritious for your body that once experienced you will never want to spend another dime on bottled water. Join the informed people around the globe that are taking the responsibility for their own good health into their own hands. Invest in your health buy an ionizer water machine. Covering the various aspects of this fast-evolving field, this comprehensive book includes the fundamentals and a comparison of current applications, while focusing on the latest, novel achievements and future directions. The introductory chapters explore the thermodynamic and electrochemical processes to better understand how electrolysis cells work, and how these can be combined to build large electrolysis modules. The book then goes on to discuss the electrolysis process and the characteristics, advantages, drawbacks, and challenges of the main existing electrolysis technologies. Current manufacturers and the main features of commercially available electrolyzers are extensively reviewed. The final chapters then present the possible configurations for integrating water electrolysis units with renewable energy sources in both autonomous and grid-connected systems, and comment on some relevant demonstration projects. Written by an internationally renowned team from academia and industry, the result is an invaluable review of the field and a discussion of known limitations and future perspectives.

This volume contains evaluated data on the solubility of beryllium hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, strontium hydroxide and barium hydroxide in water and in a number of electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions in water. The alkaline earth hydroxides can be divided into two groups depending on the hydration of the solid. First, the sparingly soluble anhydrous beryllium, magnesium and calcium hydroxides, whose freshly precipitated solids are poorly crystalline and show decreasing solubility with aging, and whose solubility in water decreases with increasing temperature. Second, the soluble strontium and barium hydroxide octahydrates that form crystalline precipitates which do not show changes in solubility on aging, and whose solubility in water increases with increasing temperature.

Forget counting calories, fat grams, and cholesterol. Forget blood pressure, blood sugar, and hormone levels. The single most important health measurement is the pH level in your blood. Now, The pH Miracle unlocks the surprisingly crucial role pH balance plays in weight loss. How acidic or alkaline your blood is (pH levels) directly affects your health and is controlled by diet. For example, if the blood becomes overly acidic from eating too much of the wrong kinds of food -- wheat, bananas, meats, and cheese -- it can lead to weight gain, diabetes, heart disease, cancer, and more. The Youngs' program includes over 50 recipes and explains which foods to eat, which to avoid, and which supplements can help on the way towards optimal health and weight loss. In just weeks, readers will find they have more energy and a stronger immune system, and will have shed pounds and inches.
