The season average prices are estimates of the average prices received by producers fer that part of the crop that is sold. Price estimates for the 1966 crops are based on sales through movember with an allowance for marketings for the remainder of the season. These prices are applied to the production estimates excluding economic abandonment presented in Crop Production-l966 Annual Summary to compute the value of production for each State.
