God intends nothing less than sainthood for you! The early Church held that all believers could achieve holiness. Over time, this conviction was largely forgotten. Sainthood seemed to be an honor only intended for a select few among the priests and religious. Eric Sammons tells how twentieth century Spanish priest and canonized saint Josemaria Escriva, the founder of Opus Dei, recovered the message of the universal call to holiness. Declared the saint of ordinary life by Pope John Paul II, St. Josemaria developed a spirituality directed toward the sanctity of every man and woman. His legacy is the belief that each of us can, by God's grace, achieve holiness through the course of our ordinary life and work. The heart of Sammons' practical guide to the spiritual life is a detailed examination of the steps in St. Josemaria's thoughtful plan for building a saintly life in spite of your hectic work and home life in a world filled with distractions and temptations. Strive for your own personal holiness as you implement your daily plan to: --Be a Contemplative in the Midst of a Busy World --Live a Life of Prayer --Recognize the Presence of God --Make a Plan of Life --Make Your Work a Way to Heaven Holiness for Everyone will inspire you as it sets your feet on the path to sainthood. "Eric Sammons shows that St. Josemaria has recovered the most powerful truth of classic Christianity and restated it in a way that is compelling for men and women of our time." ---From the Foreword by Scott Hahn

This is a Commentary like no other today. It reveals the true nature of Jesus as He walked on the earth and fulfilled the very necessary role that was required because of Adam’s fall. It fulfills the passage of I Corinthians 15:45—the last Adam. Jesus had to be like us in order to take our place. He was not God in flesh as preached today from most pulpits. He was the manifestation of God, His Father. Manifestation is the KEY word. He was God manifested in the flesh. When the Apostles saw Jesus in action they saw God the Father, John 14:9-11. We can see God in Jesus. Another important message is that Jesus was our pattern. We, the Church, should be doing the things that He did today. He Said to the disciples:“As the Father sent Me, so send I you.”John 20:21. Then He included us in His prayer in John 17:20-21. The Bible has been translated by those who believe in the doctrine of the Trinity. This came from Constantine and the first Nicene Creed in the 300s AD with the penalty of death involving over 200 Bishops if rhey did not sign it as he commanded. It seems that two were willing to die for the truth. All that was required to emphasize that Jesus was God just involved some prepositions and pronouns. However, the bulk of Jesus’ confession indicates otherwise. The Prologue is the foundation of proof that Jesus was a human being just like you and me. The Lord told me that most everyone is a product of someone else’s teaching today. However, when I was first filled with the Holy Spirit in my mid-twenties Jesus told me to let Him teach me. I have been faithful to that command for nearly 65 years. This commentary is the result of that command.

“When you love someone, you want to know all about his life and character, so as to become like him.” – St. Josemaria St. Josemaria spoke these words about the Lord Jesus, but they also apply to his Blessed Mother, Mary. The more we love Mary, the more we will want to know everything about her so as to become like her. The Maiden of Nazareth is a delightfully imaginative story that will help you get to know the Blessed Virgin Mary -- not as a statue in a church -- but as a living, breathing, human being. It follows her life from her immaculate conception and birth, up through her assumption into heaven, and it introduces you to the various characters that accompanied her along the way: Her parents Joachim and Anne, various cousins and relatives, her husband Joseph, Jesus, his apostles and various disciples and friends. You will feel like you know all of them much better after having read this book! This story is the fruit of many years of contemplating the life of the Blessed Virgin. Its primary source is the author’s imagination – an imagination fired by the love of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

A personal invitation to walk with God through of the great classics of Christian spirituality. This book of daily devotions is based upon The Cloud of Unknowing. In this edition Robinson sought to remain as true as possible to the voice of this medieval classic. Cloud Devotion follows the original Middle English text sentence by sentence, with Robinson’s own translation and paraphrase, divided work into 366 small portions, with a Scripture passage related to the theme from each daily reading. “My heart has yearned for this book. I wanted a guide to help me savor and reflect on the spiritual classic The Cloud of Unknowing. David has insightfully discerned how we might do this. The partnership of this unknown, ancient writer and this known, living pastor is masterful. I invite you into the clouds with the slow reading of this book.” —Dr. MaryKate Morse, author and mentor-professor of formation and leadership
