Sunday school remains one of the most widely embraced ministry programs among Christians. Today, approximately 42% of adults over 35 years of age attend Sunday school on a regular basis. The strategies included in this text are intended to enhance their instructional experience. This text provides teaching strategies and instructional implementation ideas that incorporate the principles of adult learning. The ultimate goal is to provide teachers with materials and resources that can help them lead their students towards a better understanding of God's Word. This text is designed to help the Adult Class Sunday school teacher accomplish the following objectives: .Gain insight into the principles of adult learning, .Incorporate the characteristics of adult students in the instructional planning process, .Design learning activities geared towards the adult students, and .Identify biblical examples and illustrations of the application of the teaching and learning concepts presented. Our Christian charge is to bring others to Christ. The more we work to improve our efforts, the greater the gain. Helping others grow spiritually is a very rewarding experience. By implementing the ideas and suggestions presented in this text, it is hopeful you will notice immediate improvement in the application of Sunday school lessons in the lives of adult students.
