D. 1830, in the 55th year of the Independence of the United States of America, Ezra Strong, of the said District, hath deposited in this office the title of a book, the right whereof be claims as proprietor, in the words following, to wit: "A Universal History of the United States of America; embracing the whole period, from the earliest discoveries, down to the present time. Giving a description of the Western country, its soil, settlements, increase of population, &c. In Three Parts. By C. B. Taylor."
