Excerpt from Robert Harris and His Descendents: With Notices of the Morey and Metcalf Families Although scattering notices of individuals of the name of Harris in England have been collected, as well as of persons in this country, it does not seem worth while to insert any not identified as belonging to this family; as several other Harris families exist, which cannot be shown to be allied with that of Robert Harris, although some connection may possi bly exist. Some of these are mentioned in the Appendix. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books.
