The identity of the compiler of this Register cannot be definitely ascer tained although she was in all probability Mary Griffiths, widow of Lieutenant Thomas Burrows, who married Arent Stevens, February 4, 1750. The name of Mary Stevens appears on the list of pew holders in St. George's Church in 1766 and in 1772. She was born.
