Jesse Corless (d.1816) immigrated from New York to Prescott County, Ontario, and later to Argenteuil County, Québec. David Brooks . (ca.1850-ca.1839) moved from Vermont to Argenteuil County, Québec, and later to Elgin County, Ontario. "Seven Brooks-Corless marriages completely interlocked the Brooks and Corless families." Many descendants lived throughout Canada. Most descendants immigrated to the United States, and their progeny lived throughout the nation.
