In a darkly lit city street, in the shadows of an old burnt out car stands a figure of a man. A tall, broad, man with piercing eyes and a disturbed soul! He seems unaware that sirens are ringing out and people are running away for what appears to be their lives. What, can he be thinking? Why is he so still, while everyone else is so panic! These city streets are not unknown for crime. Since the Mayor took control things around here have been a little sinister. What with the Afghanistani's the heroin trade and the Third Way political machine ritualistically mutilating in Machiavellian tradition. Society as we know it is on the brinkers of either collapse or revolution! That man stays in your mind for some reason I have yet to understand. I had to follow him just out of curiosity, then I noticed why he had the charisma I needed to get us out of here!

In Children of the Knight, Lance and Arthur created a New Camelot of Knights in Los Angeles by using might for right. They rallied the populace to take charge of their communities, while simultaneously putting the detached politicians in check. Now, despite what appears to be the loss of their First Knight, the young activists—joined by a significant new recruit named Ricky—must find a way to move forward. Their new goal is lofty: give adult rights to kids fourteen and older who are only considered “adults” when they break the law. The crusade seeks to provide teenagers with rights that make a difference in the real world: voting, driving, trading high school for work, and sitting as jurors for peers charged with criminal behavior. The adults of California balk at giving such power to youth, and the road ahead is anything but clear. However, before Arthur can fully contemplate these matters, he finds himself face-to-face with an ally from the past—one who proves that things aren’t always what they seem, especially for the fallen Lance. The Lance Chronicles continue… Second Edition The Lance Chronicles: Children of the Knight (The Lance Chronicles Book 1) Running Through A Dark Place (The Lance Chronicles Book 2) There Is No Fear (The Lance Chronicles Book 3) And The Children Shall Lead (The Lance Chronicles Book 4) Once Upon A Time In America (The Lance Chronicles Book 5)

I’d like to share with you a parable: the parable of Bob the Angel. A girl was walking down a darkly lit city street late at night. A man jumped out from the shadows and attacked her, suddenly she was suffocating and disoriented as hands clasped around her neck and the force of his attack started to push her down. She tried to yell as she struggled to pull his arms from her neck while she crumpled backwards to the ground, “God . . . help me!” The next thing she remembers—just as the fear consumed her, and right as she disappeared into the misery and despair of helplessness—was a loud crash and an explosion of glass which rained down upon her and her attacker. The assailant’s lifeless body was suspended above her, held from collapsing on her by an unknown force, and then pulled away from hovering over her and dropped onto the pavement beside her. She opened her eyes in the faint shadowy light, to see black matted hair and a long, black beard framing the eyes of a man. The smell of alcohol on his breath would have knocked her out if the adrenaline was not still trilling through her veins. There he stood, God’s angel, off-kilter and drunk, with a broken whiskey bottle in his hand. “You probably shouldn't be walking through here this late at night,” was all he said as he turned away. “Wait! What’s your name?” she asked, still stunned half sitting up on the ground. All she heard as he walked away was his trailing voice calling, “Bob’s as good as any. . . .”

Libelle. A Roamer in Time. The Fate of Camborin Evenchor. Almost a Zombie ...Or! The Gods Themselves.105,430 Word Count. 238 pages. Bexhill City. AD 2384. It had to be night time; otherwise I'd get a bad dose of sunburn and it’s not every night you see a skimpily-dressed, curvy blonde with a white stick tapping her way along a dimly-lit city street with her hand outstretched in angst and desperation. I laugh when I think about the excuse the guy will give his wife when he gets home minus his wallet, watch and any rings he was wearing, looking pale and tired with a whopping great love-bite and two punctures on his neck after having trying to have his way with me down a dark entry. They say being blind has its disadvantages. Maybe, but not if you’re a vampire, a female one that is....
