Andrew Hoover (or Huber) was born 23 January 1723 in Germany. He was the son of Gregor Jonas Huber and Anna Marie Kruetzer. Andrew immigrated to America aboard the ship "Two Sisters" and arrived at the port of Philadelphia 9 September 1738. He married Margaret Catherine Pfautz ca. 1745 in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania. They were the parents of thirteen children. Andrew died and was buried ca. 1794 in North Carolina. Descendants lived in North Carolina, Indiana, Illinois, Kansas and elsewhere.
